2nd International Conference on Advanced Research in Mechanical Engineering (ICARME – 2021) in association with IQAC, MVJCE

Established in 1982, the MVJ College of Engineering, the flagship of Venkatesha Education Society, imparts education beyond Engineering and Management. Situated on a 15-acre campus in Whitefield, Bengaluru, MVJCE has state-of-the-art infrastructure, creating an environment for progressive learning and development. We are permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MVJCE has on-campus learning centres in collaboration with companies such as National Instruments & Infosys. Most of our programs are accredited by National Board of Accreditation.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the year 1982. It is affiliated to VTU Belagavi, Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and Accredited by NBA & NAAC. The Department has a full time UG program in Mechanical Engineering. The Department conducts interactive workshop, seminars, conferences – National and International – intra-collegiate competitions, faculty development programs for technical skill enhancement and many other such value-adding programs on a regular basis, for the benefit of students and faculty members. The Mechanical Engineering Department has an approved Research Centre under VTU. The Department has competent, experienced, and highly qualified faculty members, who have specialized in the latest areas of Mechanical Engineering. The Department is actively engaged in research, industry-academic partnerships, consultancy and collaborations, and constantly works to identify areas that are of interest to industry, in order to make the students industry-ready.

The primary goal of the 2^nd International Conference on Advanced Research in Mechanical Engineering (ICARME – 2021) is to promote research and developmental activities in Mechanical Engineering. Another goal is to stimulate exchange of scientific information between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working around the world. The Conference focuses on a wide range of issues, but by no means limited to advancements in Manufacturing, Materials, Thermal and Design Engineering and Multidisciplinary and emerging areas of Engineering.

Objectives

The Conference offers an effective platform for academicians, researchers, start-ups and industrial practitioners to connect, discuss and exchange their research ideas and explore appropriate future strategies in the Mechanical Engineering field. In addition, the Conference provides opportunity for UG/PG students and PhD scholars to develop and enhance their research skills.

Scope

The Conference encompasses the fundamental studies of materials, manufacturing, design and thermal fields. The development of engineering technology in industrial applications will be enhanced by the publication of research outcomes in conferences. The emphasis on the evolution of newer technologies facilitates its applications to the next generation of engineers.
