Dear Alumni,

With great pleasure we are inviting you for Annual ALUMNI MEET 2019 to be celebrated on 25^th August 2019- Sunday. This is an advanced invitation to enable you to mark your calendar and plan your travel as needed. We look forward to welcome you back here on 25^th August 2019- Sunday. Kindly inform all your friends who have graduated from MVJCE. Let’s get together to make it a memorable event.

The ‘Annual Alumni Meet’ which has been traditionally conducted on
2^nd Saturday of May every year, is now scheduled on 25^th Aug 2019 this year. This is primarily to enable all our alumni to witness the growth of their alma mater and the progress our students have made in developing innovative projects which are being showcased in a grand manner.

Over the past three years the college has initiated a number of specific activities with a singular objective of equipping their students to face the demands of the industries, in addition to their regular curriculum and academic activities. These specific activities are carefully designed and implemented on voluntary basis, to expose the students to practical aspects of engineering, to nurture innovation, critical thinking and to provide an opportunity to them for hands- on- training. These activities have been gaining popularity year after year in the campus and attracting a large number of students.

The specific activities so introduced in the campus are in the form of independent workshops to students on a voluntary basis. They are Idea Box, Tomorrow’s Engineers Workshop, Foundation Skills in Integrated Product Development(FSIPD), Entrepreneurship Development Cell and finally Tinkering Laboratory. All these programmes focus on training the students to give them hands-on-experience and to train them to build practical systems in the form of projects. All of them are seamlessly integrated to give a 360-degree exposure.

On this Alumni day you can visit the exhibition stalls where the students will be personally present to display their projects and explain the innovative content in their projects.

Also, it will be an opportunity to reminisce on the old times and find out more about what is happening in the College. This Alumni meet will provide you with the chance to catch up with old classmates, old teachers and many sweet old memories while enjoying an informative exhibition of products and projects developed by budding Engineers of MVJCE.

You are our valued ambassador and we want your continued association. Anticipating positive response from you. We would be very happy to provide any help in logistics or stay during your visit. Requesting you to confirm your participation for Alumni day on 25^th August by mailing the received registration number to alumni@mvjce.edu.in by 04.08.2019.

Call for Nominations

We are indeed proud of various achievements of MVJCE’ians. On this Alumni Meet on 25^th August 2019 we would like to recognize the distinguished Alumni of MVJCE and celebrate their accomplishments as a family of MVJCE.

The MVJCE Distinguished Alumnus Awards have been instituted to recognize excellence in the areas of:

Academia/Government Service
Technology
Entrepreneurship

Each Nomination should contain the following information:

Name of the Nominee
Batch and Branch
A high resolution headshot colored photograph in .jpg format
Curriculum vitae detailing the relevant achievements after graduation.
Present Designation, Organization & Location.
Email id & Phone number.

The nominations should be sent to alumni@mvjce.edu.in with the Subject : “Nomination for MVJCE Distinguished Alumni Award 2019”.

The final awardees will be intimated by 12^th August 2019 and awarded on 25^th August 2019.
