It is one of the most important laboratories of the Civil Engineering Department, where bachelor and graduate students can perform experiments and lab work required by environmental engineering courses, and research work of their final projects. The labs also serve the faculty members of the environmental engineering specialization to carry out their research projects. In addition, the lab provides societal services by conducting technical studies and laboratories analyses acquired by both private and public sectors in the fields of water, wastewater, air, and solid-waste engineering. Moreover, this lab provides the knowledge on tests used to analyse the physio-chemical and bacteriological properties of water and explains the various method followed in the test along with its suitability as a drinking water. The laboratory composes modern and technically advanced instruments needed for water, wastewater and air quality, and noise level analyses.

Environmental engineering lab in the Civil engineering department has the following experiments and equipment’s related to the air, water, and noise pollution.
