The Fluid Mechanics laboratory is a state-of-the art facility used to conduct a variety of experiments pertaining to water and fluids. Among other things, this laboratory provides a means of testing the performance parameters of pumps and turbines. In this lab, tests on the properties of fluids, flow measuring devices, are performed.Performance study on various hydraulic machines like Turbines, Pumps are conducted. This laboratory caters to the academic requirement of various disciplines. Apart from academic requirements the laboratory provides research facilities in the field of fluid Engineering.
