Guest Lecture on ‘Application of Robotics in Electrical Industries’

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a GUEST LECTURE on ‘Application of Robotics in Electrical Industries’, on 21st January 2023. Third semester students from the departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Industrial IoT, along with faculty members from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department, participated in this Lecture, which was conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Jishnu R Krishnan, ANSCER Robotics, Bangalore.

Guest Lecture ‘Effect of Green Energy on the Indian Energy Sector’

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Effect of Green Energy on the Indian Energy Sector’. The session was organized on 13th January 2023, at Seminar Hall 4, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The students of 3rd semester EEE, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and the faculty of the EEE department attended the event. The Guest Lecture was presided by Dr. P. Mahabaleswarappa, Principal, MVJCE and Dr. Soumya Mishra, HOD, EEE, MVJCE.

Guest Lecture on ‘control system analysis in state space framework’

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on the topic ‘control system analysis in state space framework’. This lecture was organized on 24th July 2021, through the Microsoft Teams. The event started at 1.30 pm and concluded at 3.40 pm. The 4th and 6th semester students and the faculty of the EEE department attended the lecture. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Piyush Pratap Singh, Asst. Professor, National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya. His area of expertise includes Control system and He received award for Teaching Assistant of “ISTE Two-week main workshop on control systems under NMEICT project”, organized by IIT Kharagpur.

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Power System Stability’. This lecture was organized on 23rd March 2019, at Classroom No. 119. The event started at 10.30 am and concluded at 12.30 pm. The 6th and 8th semester students and the faculty of the EEE department attended the lecture. The lecture was delivered by Mr. P V Praveen Gautam, Senior Domain Engineer, ABB GISPL. His area of expertise includes power system operation and control, power system stability, dynamics and power system protection among other things.

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Advanced navigation Guidance and control for space exploitation and robotics application”. This lecture was organized on 10th March 2018, at Smt. Rajalakshmi seminar Hall. The event started at 10.30 am and concluded at 12.30 pm. The 6th students of EEE and 4th semester students of ECE and the faculty of the EEE department attended the lecture. The lecture was delivered by Mr. L. Ravikumar Sc”G”, ISRO Bangalore. Mr. Ravikumar working as Deputy Head in control dynamics and simulation group contributed more than 20 research papers in various national and international conferences in robotics and spacecraft.
