The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Top up Lecture on ‘The Phenomenon of Lightning - Its Effects and Protection’. The lecture was organised on 21st September 2019, at room. 118. The event started at 10:30 am and ended at 12.30 pm. The 7th and 5th Semester students along with faculties from the EEE Department attended this lecture. The talk was delivered by Dr. Vijay Hiralal Bhosale, Scientist ‘F’ (LRDE), DRDO, Bangalore. He has worked in the Electro-Magnetic Interference / Compatibility group of LRDE where he has actively participated in the development of a Nuclear Electro Magnetic Pulse simulator.

The event started at 10:30 am and concluded at 1.00 pm. The 4th and 6th semester students of EEE Department participated in this activity, accompanied by EEE faculty. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Vijay Hiralal Bhosale, Scientist ‘F’ (LRDE), DRDO, Bangalore. This lecture was organized on 6th October 2018, at Seminar Hall 6. The event started at 10.30 am and concluded at 12.30 pm. The 5th and 7th semester students and the faculty of the EEE department attended the lecture. The lecture was delivered by Mr. V Duraikkannan, Director, Hasoft Power Electronics Private Limited. His area of expertise includes design of power electronic converters and MPPT design for solar power converters.
