Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the field of Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Eelectronics Engineering organized a Workshop on the topic ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the field of Electrical Engineering’. The programme was organized from 22nd to 24th December 2022, at Smt. Rajalakshmi Seminar Hall. The event started at 10.00 am and concluded at 03.30 pm. The 7th, 5th and 3rd semester students and the faculty of EEE department attended the programme.

STTP on Circuit Simulation using NI Multisim

The Department of Electrical and Eelectronics Engineering organized a Short-Term Training Program (STTP) on the topic ‘Circuit Simulation using NI Multisim’. The event was organized from 19th to 21st 2022 in Room No. 201. The event started at 10.00 am and concluded at 03.30 pm. The 5th semester students and the faculty of EEE department attended the event.

Workshop on Design of electric circuits in MATLAB

On 2nd to 4th August 2021, the Department of EEE, organized a three-day workshop on ‘design of electric circuits in MATLAB’. This Workshop was conducted through the Microsoft Teams. between 8.00 am and 11.00 am. The workshop was conducted for 6th students of EEE. The sessions were engaged by Dr. Soumya Mishra, Associate Professor and Dr. Galiveeti Hemakumar Reddy, Associate Professor EEE Department, MVJCE. During the program, he explained about the basics of MATLAB/Simulink, application of MATLAB in Basic Electrical Engineering, Network Analysis, power system and Power Electronics Circuits.

Workshop on Gandhi Global Solar Yatra – Student Solar Ambassador

On 2nd October 2020, on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Department of EEE, in association with IIT, Bombay, organized a Workshop on ‘Gandhi Global Solar Yatra – Student Solar Ambassador Workshop’. This Workshop was conducted at Smt. Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall, between 9.30 am and 2.00 pm. Around 100 students from different streams of engineering courses participated in this event. All the participant designed ‘Solar Study Lamp’. At the end the study lamps are distributed among them.

Workshop on renewable energy

On 15th March 2019, the Department of EEE, organized a one-day workshop on ‘Renewable Energy’. This Workshop was conducted at Seminar Hall 4. between 10.30 am and 1.00 pm. The workshop was conducted for all students of EEE, and faculty members attended the workshop. The lecture was delivered by Mr. B Sangamesh, Incubation Manager, AIC JIT foundation and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Founder, Harsha Renewables, Bangalore. The Workshop was divided into two sessions and covered the major aspects of Solar and Wind energy.

Workshop on Transformer Technologies-Latest trends

On 28th and 29th November 2018, the Department of EEE, organized a two-day workshop on Transformer Technologies-Latest trends. This Workshop was conducted at Seminar Hall 4. between 9.30 am and 2.00 pm. The workshop was conducted for 5th and 7th semester students of EEE. Around 95 students and faculty members attended the workshop. The lecture was delivered by Mr. T V Ramaswamy, Transformer Design Engineer, Sara Consultants, conducted the workshop on both the days
