About the FDP
Speech and Image Processing is a scientific discipline as well as technology frontier, with immense applications. The treatment of speech processing requires an initial grounding in digital signal processing. This allows us to understand a proper coverage of basic speech processing algorithms. Image processing is a growing research field where many revolutionary ideas and efficient algorithms have been developed over the past few decades. The objective of this Workshop is to introduce the participants to the world of Speech and Image Processing, and give an insight into how and where it can be used. This workshop will be useful to learn the fundamentals of Digital Processing of Human Speech data, Satellite Image data and Biomedical Image data. Hands-on exercises with MATLAB software will open the door for programming in image processing
Objectives of the FDP
- To impart the real time applications of speech and image processing areas, to enable the research scholars to enhance their research work
- To provide an insight into the fundamentals of Geo-spatial remote sensing, GIS and GPS
- To enhance the Machine learning and Deep learning algorithms in speech and image processing applications
Registration
The Program is open to faculty and research scholars of Engineering colleges and Universities from ECE/EEE/CSE/Telecom/Medical Electronics departments. Industry personnel working in the concerned/allied discipline can also attend. Participants can register for the program through email/phone. A copy of the completed registration form should be mailed to kamalanathan@mvjce.edu.in. All participants have to pay the registration fee by Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘The Principal, MVJ College of Engineering’, payable at Bangalore. You will get a confirmation email from us, on or before 18th January, 2019.
