The Department of Management Studies organized Guest Lecture titled ‘Business Analysis and Taxation – A way forward to Business, Financial Analysis, Service and Insurance’, on 7th March 2019, at Seminar Hall 6. The session started at 9:30 am and ended at 12:45 pm, and 43 students from 1st year MBA attended the program.
The Guest Lecture was organized with an aim to arm management students, especially those inclined to pursue a professional career in Financial Management, with the necessary skills and tools to succeed in their goal.
The session was conducted by Dr. S Chandrasekar, a renowned Corporate and B-School Trainer with an illustrious trail of experience and qualification on various facets of management, especially in the Banking sector. He was accompanied by Mr. Pradeep Kumar, a banker himself, with years of experience in leading reputed public and private banking companies of India.
The session started with the welcoming of the Guest Speaker, in the presence of our Principal Dr. Nagaraj Sitaram, who addressed the Management students and put things in perspective, by emphasizing that MBA refers to managing things ‘Before’ and ‘After’. Thus, the seminar was set in motion by the Principal, who through his inspiring words, prepared the audience for an informative and empowering session ahead.
The experience and knowledge brought to the session by Dr. Chandrashekar and Mr. Pradeep Kumar created a lasting impact on every student of Management Studies, as they became aware of what is expected of them, what opportunities lie ahead, and what is the way forward to achieve an illustrious career in Banking Management and Financial Management.
The Seminar ended with the students thirsting for more such informative seminars, in future.
