ICDI3C-2019

MVJ College of Engineering, Bengaluru organized the third “International Conference on Design innovation for 3C’s- compute, communicate and control (ICDI3C-2019)” on 2nd May 2019.

. Dr Alex Noel, Professor, Shantou University, China, Sri ShaikMajeeth, Professor, SEC, Chennai ,Prof.V N Dabadde, Ex LRDE, Sri. Sathyanarayana Marni,Senior Manager, Synopys delivered the keynote addresses during the Pre Conference Workshop.

In recent days, Integration of Compute, Communicate and Control (3Cs) is the challenge for the engineering aspirants to execute their innovative thoughts to the real time environment. Many methodologies have been proposed for integrating the 3Cs to access data from real time environments. This conference is to provide an excellent platform to bring researchers and practitioners from academia and industry together, to focus on understanding recent developments in compute –communicate control, and establishing new collaborations in the field of Electronics and Communication & Telecommunications Engineering.

The Chief Guests of the Inaugural functions are Sri. Shrikanth S Tangade, Students Activities Committee Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section,  Sri.M R Kesheorey Retd. Scientist, DRDO along with Dr.Nagaraj Sitaram, Principal, MVJ college of Engineering and Dean Dr.R.Prabhu, MVJ college of Engineering presided over the function.

Dr. S .Ananthi, Professor, ECE department delivered the welcome address. Principal Dr. Nagaraj Sitaram and Dean Dr. R.Prabhu addressed the gathering mentioning about the importance of research work in engineering and technology.

Prof. M. Brindha being the IEEE Branch Counsellor of MVJCE handed over the new membership list of students for 2018-19 from MVJCE IEEE student branch to Sri. Shrikanth S Tangade. Prof. M. N. Praphul handed over IETE new membership list of  students for 2018-19 from MVJCE IETE student chapter to Sri.M R Kesheorey.

After the inaugural function keynote address was given by Sri. Shrikanth S Tangade,  focusing on IEEE and its importance in research for students.

Sri.M R Kesheorey shared his experience about his inventions in DRDO and signal processing.

Out of 140 papers received 80 papers were shortlisted for presentation. The conference proceedings was released by the chief guests alongside Prof M.Brindha, Dr. S.Ananthi , Dr. I. Hameem Shanavas and Dr.S.Sivakannan. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.C.Kamalanathan, Professor, Electronics and communication department.

Following the guest address, students and researchers presented their papers in three different venues of compute- communicate – control  for two sessions arranged by the college. All the 80 innovative research papers has been presented by the authors.
