Established in 1982, MVJ College of Engineering, the flagship of  Venkatesha Education Society, imparts education beyond Engineering and Management. Situated on a 15-acre campus in Whitefield, Bangalore, MVJCE has state-of-the-art infrastructure, creating an environment for progressive learning and holistic development. We are permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MVJCE has on-campus learning centers, in collaboration with companies such as National Instruments, Infosys and Texas Instruments. Most of our programs are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation.

About the Department

The Department of Chemical Engineering was established in the year 1984. The department offers the four-year B. Tech Chemical Engineering course. The department has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, three times, presently accredited till 2021. The department has well-equipped state-of-the-art infrastructure support, with a vision to provide quality education. The department also fosters industry-institute interaction, for students to bridge the gap between Industry and Institution. Our faculty have completed several projects from various agencies like AICTE, CSIR, IIChE, KSCST and VGST. Guest lectures by eminent personalities from industries and research institutions, are arranged through the department associations, to develop the overall personality of students. National level Seminars and Workshops are organized every year, in association with the student chapter of IIChE, to enrich the knowledge of students beyond their curriculum.

The purpose of the Conference is to bring together Academicians, Research Scholars and Students from different Institutions, to exchange significant thoughts and novel ideas, and also to highlight opportunities and challenges. The ultimate goal is to get insight into future trends, and share knowledge on technology options and strategies.

Outcome of the Conference

RACE proposes to publish research papers on advanced techniques in Chemical Engineering, Experimental Analysis and Theoretical Review. This conference serves as a platform for Academicians, Industrialists and Students to learn more about new technologies in the field of Engineering. This conference will encourage the qualitative and quantitative performance evaluation of the latest, as well as evolving future technologies in Chemical Engineering. Selected papers presented at RACE-2019 will be published in a Scopus Indexed and UGC-approved Journal.
