Virtual Graduation day for the batch 2019


The MVJ College of Engineering, Bengaluru with three and half decade long presence, offering education ranging from Undergraduate to Doctoral Degrees in Engineering.

Established in 1982; MVJCE, the flagship of Venkatesha Education Society, is one of the best engineering college in Bangalore and have been greatly successful in imparting education beyond engineering and management. MVJCE has state of the art infrastructure situated in a 15-acre campus in Whitefield, which has resulted in creating an environment for progressive learning and development. With inputs from motivated and quality faculty along with emphasis on a curriculum that builds knowledge and enhances thinking capability, students have been consistent in displaying higher academic performance which in turn has helped the college to be positioned among the top 10 engineering colleges in Bangalore, Karnataka. At MVJCE, we always strive hard to give students an unmatched experience at learning.

This pandemic has been a big barrier for a lot of things, but certainly not our responsibility of making this day of our Graduates memorable. Therefore, for the first time ever, we’ll be holding their Graduation Day, virtually. We celebrated our 33rd Graduation Day and our first virtual Graduation day on 02/10/2020.

The Chief Guest for our 33rd Graduation day was Shri. B. S. Yeddyurappa, Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, who congratulated all our graduates of 2019 batch and other students of MVJ College of Engineering for taking up the their examinations and clearing it successfully even during this pandemic.

To make this event more special we had Prof. B. N. Raghunandan, Advisor to Director & Former Dean, Faculty of Engineering, IISC as our Guest of Honor. Prof. B. N. Raghunandan, congratulated all our Graduates for fulfilling the dreams of their parents, well – wishers and teachers, apart from fulfilling their own aspirations. He also specified that this is the biggest transition in their life now that they are leaving their Alma matter – MVJCE and entering into a very rapidly changing society.

Following this, we showcased the photographs of all our Graduates and Rank Holders in their graduation robes, department wise as their names were being called out by our Head of Departments.

With over 16 branches we take pride to inform that this year, 907 students – 826 Under Graduate students and 81 Post Graduate students have successfully graduated from our College. This was followed by videos sent by parents and students sharing their experiences and outcome of being an MVJCIAN.

Following this, there was a performance by MVJ College of Engineering’s music group, Dhwani to wish their seniors best wishes for their future endeavours.

Since we were unable to host this event here in college, we decided to send a gift hamper to all our graduates which included – A memento, their graduation degree certificate, a mask, chocolates, with wishes and prayers for a sweet and glorious future ahead.

To add some fun to this event, we had a Graduation Hat Making competition. Students were asked to make a graduation hat with any material available with them. The best hat was selected on the basis of creativeness & elegance.

This was followed by administration of pledge by Dr. P. Mahabeleshwarappa, Principal and conferment of Degree, following which Vote of thanks, was delivered by Prof. Brindha. M, Vice Principal, MVCJE.

The event was concluded by national anthem.
