The students of the Theatre club are professionally trained by one of the city’s leading theatre groups. The initiative also enables the students to improve their communication and presentation skills while giving a boost to their confidence.

Monoacting
Mono-act is a theatrical piece played by a single actor. Only one person is physically present on the stage, he acts and reacts as though there is another person. The dialogue spoken in a Mono-act is called a monologue. Mono-acting has all the elements of a stage play – light, costume, music etc. The only difference is that in a mono-act, only a single person acts. The actor is judged based on how natural his acting is, and how well he’s able to convey his message to the audience through his acting. A Mono-acting competition was held at PES University. 4 minutes was given to each participant, to enact his/her scene.
