Value added Course on Codal Provisions In Civil Engineering
Department of Civil Engineering, MVJCE, organized a value added course on Codal Provisions in Civil Engineering, on 14th & 22nd December, 2023. The main objective of this event is to understand the importance of codes in civil infrastructures. Codal provisions refer to the building codes and standards that outline the minimum requirements and guidelines for the design, construction, and maintenance of structures. These provisions are set by relevant regulatory bodies and organizations to ensure the safety, durability, and functionality of civil engineering projects. The event was conducted in Seminar Hall 4, 45 students and all the faculty members from the Civil Engineering department participated.

SESSION 1: Expertise talk on the importance of codes for the Civil work

SESSION 2: Students are allowed to attend the Quiz and interaction to expertise

Students are granted the opportunity to attend quizzes specifically focused on codes in civil engineering, offering a targeted evaluation of their understanding of regulatory standards and principles. These quizzes serve as checkpoints for students to gauge their comprehension of the intricate details within civil engineering codes. In connection to these assessments, interactive sessions provide a forum for students to engage in discussions, allowing them to delve deeper into the practical applications and implications of the codes they are studying.
