Engineering Graphics / Computer Aided Engineering Drawing (CAED) lab is used to teach engineering drawing to the UG students. This subject focuses on the principles of engineering graphics and technology is covered in this course. Because drawing is the language of communication for engineers and is used in all fields of engineering, all students must take this subject. Students are trained on the CAD software Solid Edge ST4 to perform 2D drafting in order to expose them to contemporary industrial practices. The lab is well equipped with 60 high end computer systems with specifications interface 4GB RAM, 500GB HARD DISC, INTEL CORE-I3, HP 18.5" MONITOR (HPLV1911), HP MAKE KEYBOARD & MOUSE, WINDOWS7 for the students to practice, LCD projector facilities for the delivery of lectures and printer.
Engineering Graphics / Computer Aided Engineering Drawing (CAED) is a course that teaches students how to think creatively and analytically about engineering drawings. It adds a new layer to students' understanding of engineering drawing and the use of drawing software. Students learn about basic drawing elements such as lines, points, planes, and solids, as well as the formation of other geometrical shapes.
