The Department of Electrical and Eelectronics Engineering organized a Short-Term Training Program (STTP) on the topic ‘Industrial Automation using PLC and SCADA’. The program was organized from 09-06-2022 to 11-06-2022, at Seminar Hall 4. The event started at 10.00 am and concluded at 03.30 pm. The 4th and 6th semester students, and the faculty of EEE department, attended the program.
3-day STTP on ‘Industrial Automation using PLC and SCADA’ organized by department of EEE, MVJCE: Mr. Rathan Gowda J R delivered a lecture on ‘Basics of Industrial Control system and Business Requirement flow for development of Control System”.
The event started with a welcome speech and guest introduction. Mr. Rathan Gowda J R then took over. He conducted the two sessions of Day 1. In Session 1, he presented detailed information on the basics of Industrial Control system. Session 2 was a hands-on session on Business Requirement flow for development of Control System.
3-day STTP on ‘Industrial Automation using PLC and SCADA’: Mr. Rathan Gowda J R delivered a lecture on ‘Development of logic for Control System based on the function, and Validation of logic for control system based on the function’.
Session 1 of Day 2 started at 10.30 am with a welcome speech. Mr. Rathan Gowda J R presented both the sessions of Day 2 as well. In Session 1, he enlightened the participants with detailed information on ‘Development of logic for Control System based on the function’. Session 2 was a hands-on one on ‘Validation of logic for control system based on the function’.

The first session of Day 3 started at 10.30 am with a welcome speech and guest introduction. Mr. Naveen Kumar E delivered both the sessions of Day 3. In Session 1, he presented detailed information on ‘Introduction to industrial Automation using PLC’. Session 2 was a hands-on one on ‘PLC and HMI Interfacing for AC Servo drive’.
