Webinar on Smart Embedded System Design Approaches
A Webinar on ‘Smart Embedded System Design Approaches’ was organized by the ECE Department on 10th July 2021, through online mode, from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. The speakers were Dr. Celestine Iwendi (Associate Professor, School of Creative Technologies, University of Bolton, United Kingdom) and Dr. D Sivaraj (Associate Professor, Department of ECE, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore). The program was presided over by Dr. P Mahabaleshwarappa (Principal, MVJCE), Dr. M Brindha (Vice Principal, MVJCE) and Prof. Vaman B Gudi (CoE & Registrar, MVJCE).
Dr. D Sivaraj delivered an insightful talk on the ABCDs of embedded system and IoT, microprocessor, microcontroller and signal processing.

Dr. Celestine Iwendi explained about the Next Generation Artificial Intelligence: security issues and Industry 5.0. Dr. Iwendi spoke mainly on Industrial revolutions, the security risks of Industry 4.0 and the best practices of Industry 5.0. The talk helped the students to enhance their theoretical concepts, which would in turn, help them in their research activities.
