MVJCE has implemented 7th Pay Scale for eligible faculty with minimum 2 years of teaching experience post M.Tech/M.E.

The candidate must have good knowledge and experience in outcome-based education and its implementation in the teaching-learning process.

Associate Professor

Placement and Training Officer

Any Master’s degree, with minimum 10 years of experience in providing Placements in various sectors, to students
Excellent spoken and written Communication skills
Online Research Skills
Have a formal LinkedIn profile
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships with corporates
Generate employment opportunities for students by establishing and maintaining productive industry partnerships
Correspond with prospective companies and arrange on-campus as well as off-campus interviews
Conduct job market studies and arrange training programmes for students
Line up the students according to the company’s requirements, as per the pre-placement profiling
Ability to coordinate with various departments’ students regarding Placement procedures

Lab Instructor

B.E. in the appropriate branch; or Diploma (3 years course ); or B.Sc in the appropriate branch.
At least 5 years professional experience as Assistant Lab Instructor or professional experience as Technician in industry.
Good communication skills. Fair knowledge of English and Kannada.
Knowledge of computers and the appropriate tools relating to the respective laboratories.
Proficient in computer application languages like Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Foreman/Programmer

M.E /M. Tech fresher; or B.E. in the appropriate branch with two years or Diploma (3 Year course) in the appropriate branch.
At least 10 years of professional experience as Lab Instructor or Technician, in Industry.
Good communication skills. Fair knowledge of English and Kannada.
Knowledge of computers and the appropriate tools relating to the respective laboratories.
Proficient in computer application languages like Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Senior Professor (Full Time) / Adjunct Professor (Part Time)

Ph D degree in the relevant field and First class in bachelor’s and Master’s level in the relevant branch with a minimum of 25 years of teaching/ research /industrial experience of which at least 15 years should be at the level of Professor.

They must have a track record of exemplary professional practice while serving in leadership positions and have a well-established, evidence-based reputation for superior accomplishments in their fields.

and

At least 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals, should have at least 2 successful Ph. D. guided as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor as a Professor

At least 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals, should have provided academic leadership as institution head at least for 3 years at the level of Professor

and

At least one patent awarded

Development of one MOOC course applicable to a national platform.

Professor of Practice (Ph.D not required)

The individual must have more than 15 years of experience in industry or government in senior positions with demonstrated understanding of and impact on practice and has the interest and potential to teach course(s) as a full-time activity.

The candidates must preferably hold a PhD, but it is not an essential criterion. A lack of a PhD must be offset by demonstrated domain knowledge, obtained from the ‘field’

Research Fellowship

MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, an Autonomous institution, established in 1982 to impart education in Engineering, Management and beyond. The institution embarked on the vision of being a social partner for the development of our country through its involvement in research, adopting novel technology in research and development activities. The Research Centers (RC) of MVJ College of Engineering is committed to excellence in Research. Eligibility:

(a) Candidates with PG Degree: The candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology, or equivalent Degree, or M.S. (Research) Degree from the University or any other University recognized by VTU, with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 out of 10, or 60% aggregate marks, at either the Bachelor’s or the Master’s Degree. (b) Candidates with valid VTU-ETR Candidates are requested to submit their detailed resume with the copy of VTU-ETR 2023 Result sheet to PhD-admissions@mvjce.edu.in Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.The candidate must submit the title of the research area and the research proposal, along with his/her application, to the Expert Panel.

Fellowship:

A Fellowship amount of 35000- 40,000/- per month (based on the evaluation), for a period of 3 years from the date of registration will be given, based on the recommendation of the committee.
Researchers who are receiving financial assistance from any other organization, or receiving regular salary, are not eligible to apply.

Facility In The Research Centre:

Research Scholars shall use the Research labs and other department laboratories.
Research will be monitored by the concerned Research Guide and the Doctoral Committee.

Fulltime Ph.D. programme:

(a) Candidates who take up Ph.D. programme on Fulltime basis shall not be allowed to take up any employment during the period of the Ph.D. programme. However, they can receive scholarship / fellowship / stipend / assistantship, if any, after intimating the respective Research Center. (b) Candidates who take up Ph.D. programme on Fulltime basis under the Full-time category shall do research work in MVJ Research Centre. M.tech Students Stipend & Scholarship (2023-24)

Eligibility:

Students should have passed the Bachelor Degree examination, with not less than 60% aggregate marks for Management quota, and 50% for PGCET. In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Category – I. the aggregate percentage of marks should not be less than 45%. This relaxation is only for Karnataka students.

Category 1:

Stipend for Other Institute Students:

The total fee for the Two years program is Rs. 3,32,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Thirty Two Thousand only). The student need to pay 166000/- + University Charges for first year and Rs. 166000/- for Second Year.
The Stipend application scrutiny starts when the selected student completes the admissions.
A Stipend amount of Rs.7500 per month to meritorious students whose percentage is above 70% will be given, based on the recommendation of the committee.
Students who avail stipend are required to get involved in Academic Activity as delegated by the HOD.
The students who receive the stipend are expected to complete the program successfully without any backlogs.
