Principal’s Message

MVJ College of Engineering, located in the buzzing Whitefield area of Bengaluru is one of the most prominent educational Institution in Karnataka. Founded in 1982 by the great educationist & visionary Dr. M V Jayaraman, has now blossomed into a premier Institution, autonomous, under Visvesvaraya Technical University(VTU), Karnataka, with 15 undergraduate courses, 8 post graduate courses and 8 centres of research. The motto of the college itself is ‘Engineering a Better Tomorrow’. Our illustrious alumni are part of a wide spectrum of ecosystem as industrialists, entrepreneurs, innovators, educationalists and heads of prestigious organizations. It is a matter of pride that this Institution continues to be the ‘Institute of Choice’ for a great majority of students.

The 15 acre campus is absolutely green with lush flora around giving a conducive ambience for students to learn. The campus has both boys and girls hostel, as well as a state-of-the-art library and an auditorium having a capacity of 700.

The college has adopted the new National Education Policy (NEP) in all earnest with innovative mechanisms like IDEA BOX, Tomorrow’s Engineers Club, Foundation Skills in Integrated Product Development, all leading to a Tinkering Lab, aimed at stimulating the engineering temperament of the students providing a platform for creative expressiveness.

A dedicated & committed team of experienced faculty is continuously strong to enlighten and motivate the students in their pursuit of excellence. A very passionate and sincere management is specifically particular about maintaining the quality of the engineering education, as well as long visionary outlook in making this wonderful Institution flourish further and raise to the status of a Deemed to be University, for which it is constantly striving for.
