The 98 th Birth Anniversary of Dr. M. V. Jayaraman, commemorated as Founder’s Day, was celebrated on 17 th May 2026 at the Dr. M. V. Jayaraman Auditorium, MVJ College of Engineering.
MVJ College of Engineering organises sports events every year in memory of the Founder Chairman, Dr. M.V. Jayaraman. The 20th Dr. M.V. Jayaraman Memorial Inter-Collegiate Leather Ball Cricket Tournament 2026 was organised from 07th May 2026 to 14th May 2026.

Securing a Gold Medal in the Under 90 kg category by lifting an impressive 252 kg, along with being honored as the Best Lifter across all categories, is truly commendable.
