The Department of Management Studies, MVJ College of Engineering, Bengaluru, organized a guest lecture on “Empowering Women, Inspiring Equality” on 6 October 2026. The session was conducted from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at Seminar Hall 1, Main Block. The resource person for the session was Dr. Manjula V, State Program Director for Mahila Samakhya Karnataka (MSK). The programme was organized to create awareness among students about women empowerment, equality and the importance of building a stronger and more inclusive society.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), MVJ College of Engineering, successfully organized a two-day hands-on workshop titled “Analog Design: From Fundamentals to Schematic Design, Layout Design, RC Extraction & Design Optimization” on 5th and 6th October 2026 in Lab Room No. 158. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Kashyap V. Karun, Staff Analog Circuit Design Engineer, Samsung, who shared valuable industry expertise and practical insights into analog integrated circuit design

On September 30, 2026, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at MVJ College of Engineering organized an educational industrial visit to the Regional Remote Sensing Centre (RRSC), ISRO, specifically tailored for 7th-semester undergraduate students. A total of 62 students, accompanied by three faculty members, arrived at the ISRO-RRSC at 9:20 AM.

V. Jayaraman Auditorium. The session was delivered by Mr. Vinay Hebbatam, Senior Principal AI Engineer, LifeSignals Group, and attended by around 350 students.

The Department of ECE successfully organized an engaging E-FORZA club activity titled "SIGNAL QUEST – Decode the Wave. Discover the Message" on September 26th , 2026 at 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm at 342 Lab of ECE Department. Structured as a competitive two-round challenge, the event was designed to test and reinforce students' practical understanding of signal processing concepts, encourage analytical thinking in decoding complex wave signals, and foster competitive problem-solving and teamwork.

V. Jayaraman Auditorium. The session was delivered by Dr. Swetha Amit, Research Scientist and Founder of Smart Beam Resonates, who shared her expertise in the rapidly evolving field of wireless technologies for healthcare applications. The lecture was attended by 7th-semester students from the ECE and ACT Departments, and around 220 students attended the session.

Board of Studies Meeting

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organised a Board of Studies meeting on 22nd August at 10 AM in Seminar Hall 2. The session commenced at 10 AM with a welcome address by Prof. Renjini E. Nambiar, Hod, EEE. The meeting focused on evaluating semester-wise course distribution, tutorial components, laboratory requirements, and third-semester syllabus modifications to enhance academic effectiveness and industry relevance. Board of studies members and faculty members deliberated on course sequencing, content rationalisation, integration of emerging technologies, and practical learning components across various semesters.
