At MVJ College of Engineering in Bengaluru, inaugural celebration for the First Year B.E. Courses for the academic year 2024–25 was held on September 6, 2024 at Dr. M.V. Jayaraman Auditorium. The function was graced by parents and excited first-year students.India (Design division and Mumbai Branch).
Team Abhimanyu 7.0 from MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore has secured Third position in the National Aerospace Conceptual Design Competition VII (NACDeC VII). NACDeC is an esteemed national-level competition organized by The Aeronautical Society of India (Design division and Mumbai Branch).
On this momentous occasion of India's 77th Independence Day, we gathered to celebrate the spirit of freedom and honor the legacy of those who fought tirelessly for our nation's independence. This day is a reminder of the courage, resilience, and unwavering determination that paved the way for a future filled with hope and prosperity. Our celebrations today reflect our commitment to preserving the ideals of  liberty, justice, and equality.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an event entitled. The event was Guest seminar on  “AI AND CYBER SECURITY: A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD”  conducted in “MVJ AUDITORIUM”. The event started at 9:30 am and concluded at 11.30 pm.
The Department of Civil Engineering, MVJCE organized an Industrial visit to Hindustan Coco Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. Effluent Treatment Plant - Bidadi on Wednesday (07/08/2024). The UG 6th, 4th and PG 2nd Semester students had participated in the visit. Students were accompanied by the faculty members Prof. Sagar C P, Prof. Shashi Kumar P M and Prof. Asra Fathima. The main objective of the visit was to give a field experience to students on different concepts of civil engineering aspects.
On August 2, 2024, at 9:30 AM, MVJ Degree College hosted its Inauguration Function, marking the commencement of the First academic year with enthusiasm and grandeur. The event, held in the college auditorium, was graced by a distinguished array of guests and dignitaries, setting a positive tone for the year ahead, especially for the first batch of students and their parents.
A one-day industrial visit to STPI IoT Open Lab, Bangalore, was organized by Suranya K., Assistant Professor and Industrial Visit Coordinator at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, on August 2, 2024
The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized CLUB ACTIVITY ‘HACKSHIELD’, on 30th JULY 2024. The event started at 1:30 pm. The 4th, and 6th -semester students of both ISE  and DS Students and Mtech students with a total 400 number of students participated. The activity comprised three rounds.
The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a seminar on “Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking”, on 29th July 2024, at MV Jayaraman Auditorium. The seminar started at 9:30 am and concluded at 11:15 am.
The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a workshop on “Cyber Forensic and Data Security”, from 29th July to 30th July 2024, at MVJ Auditorium (First Day) and Seminar Hall 5  & CAD Lab (2nd Day) .
Guest Lecture on “Introduction to the Verticals of Cyber Security”on the 27th of July 2024 was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and IIOT and presided by Dean-Out reach and Industrial Relations and HoD (VLSI) Dr. Ajayan K. R. and the Chief guest Mr. Kalmesh Joshi, Principal Advisor, EBTS, Bangalore.
MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, in association with Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC) - Ministry of Education Initiative, Department of Computer science and engineering and Chemical Engineering organized a “Session on Lean Start-Up & Minimum Viable Product/Business” on 25/7/2024 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm in seminar hall 4.
Guest Lecture on “Engineering Solutions Using Graphical Programming” was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 13th July 2024 for the 6thsemester students of ECE and 4th semester students of EEE at auditoriumfrom10.30AMto12.15PM
MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, in association with Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC) - Ministry of Education Initiative & IQAC, organized a “Mentee Institutions Quarterly Progress Meeting -I & II” on 22nd July 2024, from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm. Under this Mentor-Mentee Programme, 4 colleges are mentored by MVJCE IIC
Hard work and determination have once again paid off for the students of MVJ College of Engineering. We are proud to announce that numerous students from our college have secured prestigious positions .
The event was split into two parts: a morning session and an afternoon session. During each, the speaker covered full stack Java development in detail, covering theoretical as well as practical topics.
