As a distinguished educationist, philanthropist, and scholar, Dr. Jayaraman played a vital role in shaping the landscape of quality education in Karnataka. His contributions to engineering education continue to inspire generations of students and faculty alike.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized the Pre-Conference Workshop preceding the First  International Conference IECCT 2025. The Workshop was coordinated by Dr. Shima Ramesh Maniyath (Head of the Department, Dept. of ECE), with the active support of the Departments of ECE & EEE.

MVJ College of Engineering proudly hosted the VTU State Level Women’s Kho-Kho Tournament 2025 on 9th and 10th May 2025. Our women’s team emerged victorious, securing the championship title on home ground!

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, organized a guest lecture on COMSOL Multiphysics- Structural Mechanics Modules, on 07/05/2025 (Wednesday), in Seminar Hall 4, from 10:30 AM to 01.00 PM. The resource speaker was Mr. Yuvraj M, Application Engineer, DHIO Research and Engineering Pvt Ltd. The guest lecture was organized at the Department level for second and third year students of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering.
DYNAMECH Club Activity on ‘PRODUCT 365’ was successfully conducted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ISTE, IIC and IQAC – MVJCE, on 07th May 2025 from 01.30 pm to 4.00 pm. This DYNAMECH Club Activity was conducted to influence upon students, the importance of product development and innovation, for their career and future product development. Overall, 43 students attended this event from the Mechanical Department. Mr. Yuvaraj M, Designer, DHIO Research & Engineering Pvt Bengaluru was invited as a chief guest for this event.

The inaugural function of the 19th annual Celebration of Dr. M. V. Jayaraman Inter-Collegiate Leather Ball Cricket Tournament-2025 was organized on 05th May 2025, at Smt. The Department of Industrial IOT organized a Short Time Training Program (STTP) on “DevOps for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” from 02/05/2025 to 03/05/2025. The venue for the event was at Room No 203. The expert speaker for the training program was Mr. Ashok Kumar Jena, Technical Lead, Cisco, Bengaluru, India. A total of 40 students of 4th and 6th semester from the Department of IIOT had attended the training program.
The Department of Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology) organized a guest lecture on the topic ‘Wireless Communication and Networking’. The lecture was held on 2nd May 2025, in Seminar Hall-1 from 11.30 am to 1:30 pm. A total of 97 Students from 4th semester EC(ACT) and ECE attended the lecture. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Anandi Giridharan, Principal Research Scientist, Indian Institute of science, Bangalore.
A Guest Lectureon the topic“VLSI Chip Design: Challenges and Perspectives” was organized at MVJ College of Engineering on 9th May 2025, providing students with a platform to explore the challenges and perspectives in the domain of VLSI chip design. The event brought together students, faculty, and industry professionals to discuss advancements in VLSI chip design and explore opportunities related to projects, internships, and careers.

MVJCE has emerged as winners in VTU Inter-Collegiate Bangalore North Division Kho-Kho Men tournament, held on 29th April 2025 at MVJCE, Bangalore  and has qualified to state level championship.

Our MVJCE Women’s Team are the winners in the VTU Inter-Collegiate Bangalore North Division Volley Ball Women’s Tournament held at Acharya Institute of Technology on 28-04-2025. They are qualified for the VTU State Level Championship. 

A Guest Lecture onthe topic "Basics of Intellectual Property Rights and Importance of Filing a Patent" was organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 26th April 2025 from 10.30AM to 12.30 PM for our students from various branches. The resource person for the program was Dr Y V S Lakshmi, Head Consultant, Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), Bengaluru. 101 students from various branches attended this guest lecture. The resource person had a brief discussion with our Principal, and Dean Affiliation and Accreditation before the start of the session.
The Department of Civil Engineering, MVJ College of Engineering organized an industrial visit to the Manchanabele Dam, located near Bangalore, Karnataka, on 26th April 2025. This educational visit was planned for UG 6th Semester and UG 4th Semester Civil Engineering students. The purpose of the visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to real-world civil engineering structures, especially focusing on dam construction and management.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a “Add on lecture on “Design and Implementation of PID Controller for Electrical Engineering Applications” The session was organized on 26th April 2025.The event was from 10:30 am to 11:30 pm and the students of 6th semester and the faculty of EEE department attended the event. The Event was presided by Mrs Renjini E Nambiar, HOD, EEE, MVJCE. The session was handled by Mr.Naveen Kumar E, Project Manager in Motion Drive,ABB, Bangalore.
Dr.S.T Aruna, PrincipalScientist,NAL, Bangalore  presented a guest lecture on Nanotechnology for Beginners” on 25th April 2025 at Dr.M.V Jayaraman Auditorium.About 360 students participated in the programme.The lecture was focused on introducing first year students with the concept ofnanotechnology which involves design, production, and application of materials, devices, and systems at the nanoscale, where structures are typically 1 to 100 nanometers in size. It involves manipulating atoms and molecules to create materials with novel properties and functionalities.
