The industrial visit was organized for students from the Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering to provide practical exposure to helicopter manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes carried out at the HAL Helicopter Division, Bengaluru. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and industrial practices in the aerospace sector.
A guest lecture on "Polymers for Functional Materials" was organized by the Department of Chemistry on 02.06.2026 at Dr.M.V Jayaraman auditorium. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Lakshmi R.V., Principal Scientist at NAL, Bengaluru, who is a distinguished expert in materials science. The program was attended by faculty members and around 320 firstyear chemistry cycle students
The Departmental Club of the Chemistry Department ‘Chem Life’ organised a Club activity on “From Molecules to Machines” on 2nd June 2026, in Room No. 314. The event started at 2:00 PM and ended at 4:00 PM. Students found the event very interesting, interactive, and beneficial, and actively participated in this Club activity.
The Department of Physics organised a Guest Lecture titled From Stargazing to Radio Astronomy: A Physicist’s Guide on 30/05/2026 at 10:00 am, in the M.V. Jayaraman Auditorium.
The Department of Physics organised a Physics Quiz Competition for first-year 2nd Sem students to foster interest in physics and encourage scientific curiosity. The competition was structured in two rounds. The first round was held in the respective classrooms, with around 300 students participating enthusiastically. The highest scorers from each class were shortlisted for the second round. The second round was conducted on the 30th of May 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm with around 20 students.

The Physics Club of the Department of Physics, MVJCE, organised a unique and engaging event, the "Physics Painting and Photography Competition," on 26th May 2026. This competition was designed to encourage first-year engineering students to explore the creative side of physics by blending artistic expression with scientific concepts. It was conducted from 1:30 PM to 3: 45 PM with around 100 participants.

Department of Physics organised a “Guest Lecture” for the first-year Engineering students on 21st May 2026 between 10:00 & 12:00 pm. The Guest Speaker was Prof. S. Kasthurirengan, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. The topic of the talk was“Cryogenics Technology: Fundamentals and Applications. The students from the entire Physics Cycle have actively participated in this session.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, under the banner of E Forza Club, organised an engaging technical activity titled “Baseband: Back to Basics, Forward in Vision” on 19. 05. 2026 at 1:30 pm- 4:00 pm. The event was conducted in two rounds, with enthusiastic participation from around 110 students in round 1 and 26 in round 2.
The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department organised an expert talk titled“The Language of Frequencies: Powering Today’s Communication World” on 19th May from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Smt.Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall, with Mr. Prasanna Kumar, Associate Director at Mobileum, as the distinguished resource person. Around 180 students attend the session. The lecture focused on the fundamentals and real-time applications of communication systems, particularly emphasizing the crucial role of frequency in modern communication technologies.
