The departments of Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology) & Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) conducted Board of Studies meeting in hybrid mode on 15th March 2025 in Placement room.
The Central Library of MVJ College of Engineering in collaboration with VTU Consortium organized an informative training session on EBSCO and IEEE resources according to the guidelines outlined in the VTU circular. The primary objective of this session was to enhance the knowledge of both students and faculty in utilizing academic databases effectively. By focusing on IEEE and EBSCO electronic resources, the session aimed to strengthen research capabilities and promote educational excellence through improved access to scholarly content.
A one-day industrial visit to STPI IoT Open Lab, Bangalore, was organized by Dr. M. Thilagaraj, Associate Professor and HoD, Department of Industrial Internet of Things, on 10th March, 2025, for the 6th and 4th semester students of IIOT and VLSI.
The Department of IIOT successfully organized a one-day workshop on "Python Programming & Its Certifications" on 8th March 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the NI-LabVIEW Lab (Room No 203). A total of 39 students from the 4th semester IIOT, VLSI, ECE, and 6th semester IIOT actively participated in the workshop. The sessions were conducted by the resource person namely Mr.Muthukkumar R., Senior Silicon Validation Engineer, Tessolve Semiconductor, Bangalore.

Guest Lecture scheduled on “High Performance CPU Architecture” was organized by the ECE and VLSI Department on 7th March 2025. The Session received an overwhelming response, with 266 participants.

The Central Library MVJCE, conducted an orientation session: “Library Orientation Session – PG Batch 2024-2025" on 08/03/2025 at 12.30 p.m.. For this session, 1st year students of MBA and M Tech AI/DS Batch were present. Ms. Anjali A (Assistant Librarian) welcomed all the students for the session.

The Department of Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology) successfully organized a two-day workshop on "COMSOL RF Module and 3D Printing" on March 5th and 6th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Robotics and Automation Lab. A total of 31 students from the 4th semester EC (ACT), 6th semester ECE, and MTech 3rd semester EC (ACT) actively participated in the workshop.
MVJ College of Engineering has successfully conducted a two-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on 3rd and 4th March 2025, focusing on interdisciplinary topics crucial for educators. The FDP aimed to provide faculty members with insights into ethical values, health sciences, biology in engineering, and the Indian Constitution.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an industrial visit to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Open Day in Bengaluru on March 1, 2025. The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge research, interact with scientists, and witness live demonstrations of innovative experiments.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a “Guest Lecture on “Generative AI”. The session was organized on 01thMarch2025, at Seminar Hall 4. The event was from 09.30 am to 11.30 pm and the students of 4th and 6th semester (33+35 = 68 Students)and the faculties of EEE department attended the event.

An Industrial Visit to IISc on its Open Day was organized by the AIML Department on 1st of March 2025, from 08:30 pm to 4:30 pm. to provide students with an experience of scientific research and technological advancements. It aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in various scientific fields.
