The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, hosts an annual Open Day to showcase its cutting-edge research and technological advancements. In this regard, MVJ College of Engineering has organized an Industrial Visit to the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Open Day on March 1, 2025. The 3rd year ISE students participated in this event.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) are rapidly transforming business operations across industries, from banking and finance to marketing and human resources. With AI-driven solutions optimizing processes, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experiences, organizations worldwide are integrating AI into their core strategies. Recognizing the significance of these advancements, the Department of Management Studies at MVJ College of Engineering organized a two-day Short-Term Training Program (STP) on "Application of AI and Generative AI in the Corporate World" on the 28th and 29th of March 2025. The training aimed to equip MBA students with hands-on experience in AI-powered business solutions and prepare them for the evolving corporate landscape.

Our second team from MVJ College of Engineering showcased their sharp thinking and teamwork once again in the Cyber Escape Competition held at Garden City University on 13th and 14th November 2024 by securing 2nd Place. Congratulations to the team for their remarkable achievement!

Dr.S.T Aruna, PrincipalScientist,NAL, Bangalore  presented a guest lecture on Nanotechnology for Beginners” on 25th April 2025 at Dr.M.V Jayaraman Auditorium.About 360 students participated in the programme.The lecture was focused on introducing first year students with the concept ofnanotechnology which involves design, production, and application of materials, devices, and systems at the nanoscale, where structures are typically 1 to 100 nanometers in size. It involves manipulating atoms and molecules to create materials with novel properties and functionalities.

Jayaraman Auditorium at 10:30 AM paying homage to its visionary founder, Dr. M. V. Jayaraman. As a distinguished educationist, philanthropist, and scholar, Dr. Jayaraman played a vital role in shaping the landscape of quality education in Karnataka. His contributions to engineering education continue to inspire generations of students and faculty alike.

MVJ College of Engineering clinched the championship at the VTU Inter-Collegiate Bangalore North Division Hockey Men’s Tournament, held on 13th May 2025 at BMSIT&M, Bangalore. With this victory, our team proudly qualifies for the VTU State Level Championship!

MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, in association with Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC) - Ministry of Education Initiative, Department of Computer science and engineering and Chemical Engineering organised a “Session on How to plan for Start-up and legal & Ethical Steps” on 13/5/2025 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm in seminar hall 1.
The Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering organized an Addon course on "Numerical study of advanced structures" on December 05, 2024. The event took place at Seminar Hall 2, starting at 02 PM. The expert speaker, Mr. SK Shyam, Senior Associate Engineer, Caterpillar, Bangalore, delivered the lecture. Students from 6th semester Aeronautical and Aerospace engineering attended, making it an engaging and insightful session.
