Our Founder’s Day is held on May 17, while Alumni Day is on the second Saturday of May. Swayam is MVJCE’s annual cultural festival that hosts over 50 colleges from around the state, and VERTEX is our national-level technical extravaganza.

Placements

The journey from campus to corporate can be a daunting one, fraught with challenges. Transforming the trials into triumphs is the Placement Division of the MVJCE.
The role of the Placement Division goes far beyond placing all meritorious students before they complete their course.Our training programmes are designed to improve confidence levels, analytical thought, presentation delivery, communication skills and technical know-how. MVJCE targets 100% placement for all eligible Institute graduates.

Library

Spread over 17,000 sq ft, the Central Library houses over 65,000 books and subscriptions to over 120 national and international journals.

Scholarships

The MVJCE legacy is to make education available to all classes of society. The Dr. M.V. Jayaraman Foundation provides scholarships for excellence in academics and sports at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.

Clubs

All clubs at MVJCE actively participate in intercollegiate festivals, promoting team spirit, originality and hard work. Read up on our Theatre club, Literatti, Aero Modelling club, and Robotics club – Magnum Opus!

Cultural Activities

MVJCE’s well reputed fest ‘Swayam’ forms the plaform for state level cultural activities. The cultural group at MVJCE train year round with experts to enhance their skills. The national level technical fest ‘Vertex’ provides an opportunity for students to exhibit their technical capabilities to the academic and corporate fraternity.
