MVJ HOSTEL DAY 2019 REPORT

Girls Hostel Day:-

The students of MVJCE girls hostel celebrated hostel day function on 22.05.2018. Hostel day ceremony was held at Smt. Rajalakshmi Seminar Hall at 4.30 PM. The program was started with the special snacks (Pizza, Maaza Juice, Tea/Coffee) arranged by the MVJ Canteen at the hostel day venue.  Dr. Nagaraj Sitaram and Prof. M. Brindha, Vice Principal, MVJCE was invited to preside the function.  Ms. Bhavana, Girls Hostel students welcomed the gathering.

The hostel day function was started with invocation song by the final year students Meghana T, Monica Yadav, Priyanka E.V. Certificates had been distributed for the winners and runners of the events such as  throwball, treasure hunt, lagori and tug of war  which was held on 19.05.2019. Many students gave cultural performances like solo dance, group dance, singing etc…  In conclusion, the vote of thanks was given by Ms. Akkamahadevi of Girls Hostel. The hostel wardens made all arrangements in connection with the function. The function ended with the delightful dinner with special menu (Chinese Noodles, Paneer chilly gravy, Kurma, Rumali Roti, Ghee Rice with dry fruits, Papad/Pickle/Salad, Curd, Rasmalai (Sweet), Ice Cream (Chocobar/Kulfi),  RoseMilkshake/ Jeera Juice) arranged by the MVJ canteen to the students of girls hostels.

Boys Hostel Day:-

The boys hostel students of MVJCE celebrated hostel day function on 23.05.2019 at Smt. Rajalakshmi Seminar Hall at 5.00 PM. The program started with the special snacks (Pizza, Maaza Juice, Tea/Coffee) arranged by the MVJ Canteen at the hostel day venue. Dr.Nagaraj Sitaram,Principal, MVJCE & Dr.R. Prabhu ,Dean R&D werw invited to preside the function.  Mr.Subham Singha, Boys Hostel-I student welcomed the gathering. Mr. Basanagouda(Warden), I.Hameem Shanavas(Associate Professor, ECE & Warden) addressed the students. Presentation of Rolling Trophy for the MVJ Hostel Premier League- 2019 and Certificates were distributed to Winners and Runners of the HPL 2018 Cricket match, Foot Ball, Basket Ball and Tug of War. In conclusion, the vote of thanks was given by Mr. Saurabh of Boys Hostel-I. Many students gave cultural performances like solo dance, group dance, singing etc.

The Hostel Warden made all arrangements in connection with the function. The function ended with the delightful dinner with special menu(Khaju Panner Masala, Rumali Roti, Jeera Rice/Ghee Rice/White Rice, Gobi Manchurian, Aloo Gobi Dry/Fry, Curd Rice, Dal Makhani& Sambhar, Salad/Papad/Pickle, GulabJamoon Dry/Rasagulla,, Ice Cream (Chocobar), Juice (Mango & Watermelon)) prepared by the students  has been accepted and  arranged by the MVJ  canteen to the students of boys hostels.
