E-FORZA Club Activity – ’Analog Design Challenge’

E-FORZA Club, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, MVJCE, organized an event Analog Design Challenge, on 3^rd and 4^th March, 2023, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The main objective of the event was to enhance the students’ knowledge in the areas of circuit design, specifying the logic, circuit realization and physical placement.

The Inaugural function was graced by the honourable Chief Guest Mr. Gururaj Bhat (Head of Infrastructure Services and Global Operations Center, Bosch Global Software, Bangalore) in the presence of Dr. Shima Ramesh (Assistant Professor, MVJCE).

The ECE students heartily welcomed the Chief Guest, faculty members and delegates.

Guest Speaker:

Mr. Gururaj Bhat is currently working as Head of Infrastructure Services and Global Operations Center, Bosch Global Software, Bangalore. He has 21 years of experience as Delivery Manager. He stratergizes, establishes and grows new lines of business. (Automation, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle EBS). He is a PMP-certified Project Management Practitioner, and possesses strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. He is goal-oriented, highly motivated, focused and self driven. Mr. Gururaj Bhat is a seasoned professional, with outstanding project planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing skills, with the ability to support multiple simultaneous projects in a matrix organizational structure. He has a lot of experience in systems development, managing cross-functional teams.

Event Details:

The event was conducted in Room No. 349, 342, 356 and 201. 174 students from the ECE department participated in this event.

The Event comprised of two Rounds.

Round 1: Analogue Trivia (11.40 am – 12:40 pm)

It was an online Technical Quiz Round comprising 30 questions. It was held on 3^rd March, 2023, for one hour. Shortlisted participants of this Round qualified for Round 2.

Round 2: Analogathon (9:30 am – 12:30 pm)

The selected students presented their conceptual design to the Chief Guest Mr. Gururaj Bhat. The evaluation of the conceptual design was done with the following parameters:

Outcome of the event:

The event helped to foster a healthy interaction among the participants. It motivated them to design, specify the logic, circuit realization and improved their presentation skills. It also helped to identify their domain of interest to develop a prototype.
