Python Coding Contest

Python Coding Contest was conducted by E-FORZA, ECE Department Club, on 8^th April, 2023. In this event, students participated in three rounds of python coding, and showed their coding skills through hands-on activities done in the python lab. 127 students participated in this Club activity.

Inauguration: The activity was inaugurated by HOD of ECE department, Dr. I Hameem Shanavas. He pointed out that students have put in lot of efforts to do coding, and this event is a good platform to improve their skills.

The Chief Guest for the event was Sri. Madan Kamaraj, Senior Program Manager, Mercedez benz, Bangalore. He is also an alumnus of the ECE department from the Class of 2001. The programme began with a welcome address, followed by a talk by Sri. Madan Kamaraj Participants were then led to the python lab where the coding contest was held. Chief Guest Sri. Madan Kamaraj evaluated the contest.

The first Round was a Quiz Round and at the end of this Round, 50 students qualified for the next Round.

In the second Round, the students had to fix the errors in the codes given to them. 27 students cleared this Round. Out of these 27, 2 winners were chosen at the end of Round three, based on their ability to develop and run the code within the allotted time.

All three rounds were judged by our Chief Guest Sri. Madan Kamaraj.

The winners:

• Rahul KL [1MJ20EC099] won the First Prize
• MM Pramod [1MJ20EC064] won the Second Prize

Outcome of the Event:

• The students put in a lot of effort in python coding.
• 27 students got a platform to exhibit their skills.
