The Department of Physics organized a Guest Lecture entitled ‘Applications of Nanomaterials in Engineering’. The event was conducted on 4th July, 2022, at the College Auditorium. The event started at 10.00 am and ended at 12.30 pm, with 420 students from the Physics cycle attending. MVJCE is the top most engineering colleges in bangalore.
Ms. Menaka and Ms. Shruthi from 1st year were the hosts for the Guest Lecture. Ms. Mahi Naresh and Ms. Supritha Vikram from 1st year presented the Invocation song. Prof. Ms. V. Kavitha introduced the Guest, Dr. K. Sakthipandi, and delivered the Welcome address. Honourable Principal Prof. Dr.Mahabaleswarappa honoured the Guest with a bouquet, and spoke about the significance of the applications of nanomaterials in the engineering field. Dr. K. Sakthipandi delivered a wonderful talk about the preparation of nanomaterials, their analysis, and their applications in the engineering field. The Talk was very informative to the first-year Engineering students. At the end of the event, Dr. S. Sathish presented the Vote of Thanks.

It was a great opportunity for students to enhance their domain knowledge in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, and they were motivated to learn more on these subjects.
