IEEE Day is being celebrated for the first time in history, when engineers worldwide, and IEEE members, gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884 (???). Worldwide celebrations demonstrate the way thousands of IEEE members in local communities join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow. A Guest Lecture was organized on the eve of IEEE Day 2021 – ‘Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow’ – by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with MVJCE IEEE Student Branch and IEEE Bangalore Section, on 07 th October 2021, from 10.30 am to 12:00 pm, at Dr. M V Jayaraman Auditorium, MVJCE. The Resource Person for the session was Dr. Ashwini Appaji, Coordinator of IEEE R10 Young Professionals, and Execom Member of IEEE Bangalore Section.
