The Department of Physics organized a Physics Quiz Competition for the first-year students with the objective of fostering interest in physics and encouraging scientific curiosity among the new entrants. The competition was structured in two rounds. The first round was conducted in the respective classrooms, where around 300 students participated enthusiastically. The highest scorers from each class were shortlisted for the second round. The second round was conducted on 13th of December from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm with around 20 students .
