Report on G20 Elocution

One earth one family one future life (lifestyle for environment)

The G20 ELOCUTION competition organized by our club, Saahitya, was scheduled for 30th June, a Friday, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

An elocution competition is a public speaking contest in which participants present a prepared speech or recite a piece of literature in a clear, articulate, and expressive manner.

Saahitya conducted the G20 ELOCUTION competition on 6th July, at 3.30pm In seminar hall 5.

We saw a total of 15 participants, along side spectators who encouraged and applauded the speakers for their speeches.

The topics given to the participants were

  1. Living Sustainably In Harmony with Nature
  2. Health for the Earth, Health for me
  3. Reduce to Repurpose & Use
  4. The 5 Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Re purpose, & Rejuvenate

Elocution competitions play a valuable role 1n fostering public speaking abilities, promoting literary appreciation, and nurturing confident and effective communicators, making them an integral part of educational and cultural events in many communities.

Saahitya’s G20 Elocution Competition, held in the esteemed Seminar Hall 5, left a lasting impression on everyone present. The event not only celebrated the art of public speaking but also highlighted the importance of effective communication and the beauty of language in conveying profound messages.

As the Elocution Competition commenced, each participant took the stage with poise and confidence, delivering their prepared speeches with compelling articulation and expressive gestures. The air in the seminar hall was filled with a sense of admiration and inspiration as the participants passionately conveyed their thoughts and emotions.

Following a short break for evaluation, the winners were announced, each one receiving well-deserved recognition for their remarkable achievements.
