The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, MVJCE, organized a SPARK Club Activity on the topic ‘Circuit Building’. The event was organized on 26th November 2022, at Seminar Hall 5. The event started at 10:30 am and concluded at 2:00 pm. The 3rd, 5th, and 7th Semester students from the EEE Department participated in this activity.
At 10.30am, the event was inaugurated by our beloved Principal, Dr. Mahabaleswarappa and Mr. Shivakumar N R, Scrum Master, Medium Voltage Switchgear Development, Schneir Electric, Bangalore. After the inauguration speech by the two guests, the first Round of the event started at 11.30 am.
Phase 1
- The components will be displayed to students for one minute.
- Students should recollect and write down the names of the components.
- Selection criteria for qualifying to Round 2 will be number of components remembered and the time taken to write down these names on paper.
Phase 2
- Students should design the correct circuit diagram by using the components listed by them in the 1st round. And they should explain the working of the circuit.
- Selection criteria for qualifying to the third round will be the feasibility of the designed circuit.
Phase 3
- Students should rig up the circuit and show the output.
- Based on the output and the questions answered, Winner and Runner Up will be selected.

Outcome Of The Event:
The students participated actively in the event. They were able to enhance their technical skills through this activity. It also helped them to learn about time management and teamwork.
