The Department of Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology) is organising an industrial visit to the IISc Open Day on 7th March 2026 for the students of the EC(ACT) department. This industrial visit is expected to provide students with direct exposure to cutting-edge research demonstrations, state-of-the-art laboratories, and innovative projects showcased across the various departments. The Department of Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology) and Industrial IoT is planning an Add-on Lecture on the topic “Communication Networks” for the 6th semester students of EC(ACT) & IIoT department on 17th March 2026. Dr. Parimal Parag, Associate Professor in the Department of ECE at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, will be delivering the lecture. He is an expert in communication systems, communication networks, distributed computation, and distributed storage.
