MVJ College of Engineering, Bengaluru, congratulates Praveen R (USN: 1MJ22EC115) from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, 7th Semester, for his outstanding performance at the Dastaan Men’s Classic Powerlifting Competition, held on 4th October 2025 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
Representing MVJCE in the Full Powerlifting (SBD – Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift) category, Praveen demonstrated exceptional strength and determination with the following lifts:
- Squat: 185 kg
- Bench Press: 107.5 kg
- Deadlift: 205 kg
With a remarkable total, Praveen secured the Gold Medal in the Junior Category (Under 83 kg), exemplifying the spirit of perseverance, discipline, and sporting excellence.
