Every Year, MVJ College of Engineering celebrates the Founder’s Day on 17th May. This year, MVJ College of Engineering celebrated the Founder’s Day on 17.05.2024 (Friday) in the college auditorium (Dr. M.V. Jayaraman) at 10:15 a.m to mark the 96th Birth Anniversary of Dr. M. V. JAYARAMAN- Founder, Mentor of MVJ Group of Institutions.
A humble tribute in the form of a video was played that enabled the audience to reminisce the days and glorious past of Dr. M. V. Jayaraman.
The Chief Guest was Padma Bhushan Dr. B. N. Suresh, Founder Director & Chancellor, IIST, Trivandrum and Chairman, Board of Governors, MVJCE, Bangalore since 2015. He was a Former Hon. Distinguished Professor, ISRO HQ, Bangalore, Former Satish Dhawan Chair of Engineering Eminence, INAE, Delhi, Past President, Indian National Academy of Engineering, New Delhi, Former Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, VSSC, Trivandrum and Former Member, Space Commission.
