Department of Civil Engineering, MVJCE, organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Application of GIS and Remote Sensing in Civil Engineering’, on 08th June 2024. The main objective of the event was to encourage students to look beyond their theoretical knowledge and co-relate the theories they learn in the classroom with the application of GIS and Remote Sensing in the modern world. The event was conducted in Smt. Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall. 50 students and all the faculty members from the Civil Engineering department participated.
