Guest Lecture on Future Of Cloud Computing

The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a guest lecture on “Future Of Cloud Computing”, on 10th February 2024, at MV Jayaraman Auditorium. The event started at 10:30 am and concluded at 1:00 pm. 520 students from III semester  and V semester of the Dept. of ISE and CSE attended this event. Chief Guest Tejas Rana, Technical Manager at HCL Technologies. With all the trending technologies upcoming today, cloud computing stands out as one of the top and most renowned technologies in the IT industry. 

The economic growth  of cloud computing  has increased drastically in the recent years. Most of the companies are now migrating their business into  this stream. It began in the year of  1950 from Shared computing and evolved till 2010 as cloud computing and now is  a big giant in market. Cloud Computing is the delivery of  IT resources on demand  with pay as you go pricing. The vendor is termed as Cloud Service Provider who undertakes service provision and management of all the undifferentiated  heavy lifting of IT. The recurring issue of maintenance and management of data centres , infrastructure  and deployment faced by the on premises is now resolved by Cloud Computing.
