In a heartfelt tribute to the memory of Ms. Anitha, an 8th-semester AIML student of MVJCE who battled with colon cancer, MVJ College of Engineering, in association with the Indian Cancer Society, organised a 5K Marathon on Cancer Awareness. The event, held on the MVJCE campus from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM, witnessed an overwhelming turnout of students, faculty, staff, and guests, all united in a common cause to raise awareness and support the fight against cancer.
The marathon, themed “Run for a Cause, Race for a Cure”, was not just a race but a powerful expression of solidarity, resilience, and hope. Participants, whether walking, jogging, or sprinting, moved with purpose, each step symbolising courage and the collective dream of a cancer-free future.
