SRISHTI Club, Department of Civil Engineering, MVJCE, organized an event GEOLOGICAL MODEL, on 28th February, 2023. The main objective of the event was to create interest and knowledge among students about dimensional geological features of physical quantities in the domain of interest. All the participants were encouraged to finish the geological model with detailed specification within the allotted time of 3 hours. Based on the detailed model and technical explanation by the individual participants, prizes were announced by the expert committee members. The event was conducted in Drawing Hall 148 and seminar hall 4. 95 students from the Civil Engineering department are participated in the event.
The Event comprised two rounds.
ROUND 1: Preparation of geological model by the students with their own innovative ideas (8.00 am – 11.00 am)
The students were divided into teams, with a maximum of 10-12 students in each team. They were given specification for preparing geological model
ROUND 2: Presentation of the developed model (11:00 am – 2:45 pm)
The students presented the model to Chief Guest Announcement of Result (2:30 pm – 2:45 pm)
The Chief Guest gave the Keynote Address, after which the results were announced.
Rules and Instructions
- Those who get the maximum score will be placed higher in the rank list.
- The decision of the organizers with respect to the results will be final. No queries in this regard will be entertained.
- Any participant found to be indulging in any form of malpractice will be immediately disqualified.

Outcome of the event
The event helped to foster a healthy interaction among participants. It helped them to prepare model and improved presentation skill in addition to understand the requirements of the industry for a Civil Engineer. It also helped in bridging the gap between industry and academics.
