DAC Meeting 2026 on Curriculum Review & Industry Alignment – ME

The Department of Mechanical Engineering will be conducting a Department Advisory Committee Meeting to discuss the 2026 Curriculum on 14.03.2026
 
This DAC meeting aims to equip students with the knowledge to:
  • Gain a future-ready understanding of emerging technologies such as Industry 4.0, electric mobility, additive manufacturing, and sustainable energy systems.
  • Develop stronger industry-aligned competencies through curriculum updates that reflect current industrial practices, required skillsets, and technological advancements.
  • Enhance problem-solving and design capabilities by integrating project-based learning, interdisciplinary courses, and hands-on laboratory exposure.
  • Improve career readiness and employability by incorporating professional skills, advanced software tools, certifications, and internship-oriented training.
  • Cultivate research aptitude and an innovation mindset through inclusion of research-oriented modules, electives, and opportunities for collaboration with industries and premier institutes.
