Mr. Amitesh Rahul, Director at ADSAT Engineers (P) LTD (Alumnus of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Class of 1991).
Rahul holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication and is a member of IETE [Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers] and Broadcast Engineering Society [BES].
1) Main Activity : – Successfully running a company in the name of Adsat Engineers (P) Limited since 2005 which is an Authorized Service Centre for Indian region for US Multinational M/s Communications & Power Industries USA [CPI, www.cpii.com] – a world class manufacturer for Microwave High Power Amplifiers using TWT/KLYSTRONs, Solid State Power Amplifiers.

The only service centre that serves the industry on 24×7 basis and covers the Indian region [India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan etc].
Adsat is one of the 5 GRCs [Global Repair Centre] for CPI/Codan’s SSPA range of products.
The Adsat service centre is involved in pre sales design, installation commissioning, maintenance and repair of Satellite Communication range of products for most of the TV Uplinkers like TataSky, Airtel, Sun Direct, DD Direct Plus, DIALOG TV Colombo, NTV Dhaka, Roshan Kabul, Satcom Organizations like – ISRO, BEL, LRDE, RCI Lab, DEAL, ECIL, SAC, NCAOR, MoD, DoT etc.
The company does take care of the full Earth Station’s maintenance e.g. Lok Sabha TV, Utakrsh Society Panchkula etc.
Adsat is involved in ground segment installation and maintenance of prestigious projects of national interests like – Chandrayan [Moon Mission], Mangalyan [Mars Mission], Indian Navigational System – GAGAN & IRNSS headed by ISRO. The job added the extensive travel experience in the Indian region and about 15 countries so far.
2) Participating in the new state of the art technologies emerging in India – Ka band High Throughput Satellite transmissions; Ku band tropo and beyond line of site [BLOS] work for the Indian Armed forces; VLF transmissions for under water communications for submarines; High Physics Plasma Fusion work in the ITER (International Thermonuclear Energy Research), etc etc. Involved in the design and development of GaN SSPA technologies for use in space, defense; and medical research.
3) As a young entrepreneur, have provided gainful employment to about 20 young engineers, and have taught them many concepts in engineering – safety; M&C control of complex systems; heat and cooling technologies; quality and reliability; etc.
4) Carried out the installations in high risk areas – Afghanistan’s cities like Ghazni, Logar, Herat, Bamyan and Kabul for Mobile Network of “Roshan”, Radio & TV of Afghanistan [RTA].
5) Prior to the Entrepreneurship he worked at CPI’s Indian office, HFCL Satcom Ltd as Manager Customer Service and for SIEMENS Power Electronics Products all @ New Delhi.
6) In addition to above, Prasar Bharti [AIR & Doordarshan] have listed as a faculty for their National Academy of Broadcast Management – NABM, [formerly Staff Training Institute (STIT)] for the various courses in RF and Broadcast.
