IEEE

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student Branch at MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE) was established on 26th October 2017 and is registered under region 10 of the IEEE Bangalore Section. The branch is actively managed by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and also includes participation from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department. The IEEE Student Branch at MVJCE has been instrumental in organising a wide range of technical activities, including seminars, workshops, hackathons, and guest lectures, aimed at enhancing students’ technical skills and industry readiness. These events focus on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and VLSI design. The branch regularly celebrates IEEE Day, hosts expert sessions by IEEE fellows, and supports students in technical paper presentations and research activities. With over 13 active student members and 8 professional members, the IEEE branch offers leadership opportunities to students in various roles like Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Webmaster. Through its strong affiliation with the IEEE Bangalore Section, the branch provides a platform for career guidance, research collaboration, and global networking among students, academicians, and industry professionals.
