Aero Modelling Club

Aero Modelling Club

The Aero Modelling Club is a dynamic and hands-on platform for aviation enthusiasts, encompassing four specialized sections:

  • Glider Models– Unpowered aircraft that rely on aerodynamic design and environmental factors for flight.
  • Wire-Controlled Powered Aircraft– Fixed-wing models operated via physical control lines, offering precision and skill-based flying.
  • RC Flight Simulators– Virtual environments for mastering remote-controlled fixed-wing aircraft operations.
  • Remotely-Controlled Fixed-Wing Aircraft– Real-world RC models that allow students to experience the thrill of piloting miniature aircraft.

Club members actively engage in fabricating models from balsa wood, assembling knocked-down kits, and experimenting with advanced technologies. The club regularly hosts aero modelling meets, competes in national and intercollegiate events, and is committed to developing next-generation aviation models.

Activities also include cutting-edge projects involving:

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
  • RC Helicopters
  • Aircraft with Auto-Stabilizers
  • Jet Engine-Powered Models

Through these initiatives, the Aero Modelling Club fosters innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence, preparing students for careers in aerospace and robotics.
