BENGALURU: MVJ College of Engineering celebrated Founder's Day on Sunday, marking the 98th birth an- niversary of its founder, M.V. Jayaraman. The event paid tribute to Dr. Jayara- man's contributions to en- gineering education. High- er Education Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar was the chief guest. Also present was M.J. Mohan, chairman of MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital and se- cretary of the Venkatesha Education Society.

The 98 th Birth Anniversary of Dr. M. V. Jayaraman, commemorated as Founder’s Day, was celebrated on 17 th May 2026 at the Dr. M. V. Jayaraman Auditorium, MVJ College of Engineering.

MVJ College of Engineering organises sports events every year in memory of the Founder Chairman, Dr. M.V. Jayaraman. The 20th Dr. M.V. Jayaraman Memorial Inter-Collegiate Leather Ball Cricket Tournament 2026 was organised from 07th May 2026 to 14th May 2026.

We are proud to congratulate RUPIN V R, a third-year Computer Science and Design student, on his outstanding achievement in the deadlift competition held at Global Academy of Technology on 14 May 2026. Securing a Gold Medal in the Under 90 kg category by lifting an impressive 252 kg, along with being honored as the Best Lifter across all categories, is truly commendable.

The event promotes creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and solution-oriented thinking aligned with emerging and cutting-edge technologies.
