The ECE Department is organizing a guest lecture on 22ndAugust 2025, featuring Mrs. Devshree Kumar, Principal Scientist at the UAV Division, CSIR-NAL, Bangalore, on the topic “AI Enabled Target Detection and Tracking Using High-End Embedded Compute Boards.” This session aims to offer participants practical insights into integrating AI algorithms with advanced embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi with accelerators, focusing on real-time target detection and tracking. The lecture bridges the gap between theoretical AI models and their real-world implementation in edge computing environments.

The ECE Department is organizing an industrial visit to GTTC (Government Tool Room and Training Centre) on 20th August 2025, to provide students with practical exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies. During the visit, students will have the opportunity to observe CNC machining, tool design, and component manufacturing processes, gaining valuable insights into precision engineering and modern tool-making techniques. They will also learn about quality standards and control measures in industrial production, interact with industry experts and trainers to understand the latest practices, and explore various training programs offered by GTTC for career development. This visit aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial applications, while encouraging skill development and entrepreneurship among students.

The ECE Department is organizing an industrial visit to FANUC India on 8th August,2025, offering students a valuable opportunity to explore cutting-edge advancements in factory automation, robotics, and CNC systems. FANUC, a global leader in industrial automation, is renowned for its innovative robotic solutions and precision technologies. This visit will provide students with firsthand exposure to real-world automation applications, deepen their understanding of CNC systems and industrial robotics, and offer insights into modern manufacturing processes and automation trends.

Industrial IoT Department is organizing an Industrial Visit to U R Rao Satellite Centre on 29th August 2025.
The visit will offer students a unique opportunity to gain insights into India’s cutting-edge space technology and satellite development processes. It aims to enhance their understanding of real-world applications in aerospace and satellite engineering.
Design of Eco-Friendly Water Harvesting System

The Srishti Club invites you to participate in an engaging hands-on event where students will design and develop models of eco-friendly water harvesting systems for modern construction projects. Students will develop scale models of eco-friendly systems, applying principles of sustainable development and water conservation. This initiative encourages innovative thinking and promotes sustainable practices in civil engineering by integrating concepts of water conservation, energy efficiency, use of sustainable materials, and waste reduction.

An industrial visit to the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), ISRO, Bangalore is scheduled on 29th August 2025 by the department of Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology). This visit will provide students with insightful exposure to India’s cutting-edge space technology and satellite development processes. URSC is the lead centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) responsible for design, development, assembly & integration of communication, navigation, remote sensing, scientific and small satellite missions.

During the visit, students will have the opportunity to gain an overview of satellite subsystems, payload integration, and the advanced testing facilities used in satellite development. Experts at URSC are expected to explain the various stages involved in satellite missions from initial design to launch preparation while highlighting key technologies used in advanced communication systems, remote sensing, and scientific satellite applications.

This industrial visit is expected to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application motivating students to explore career paths in satellite communication, signal processing, wireless technologies, RF system design, space research, and other related domains in the field of communication engineering.

The Project Expo INNOVEX-25 is an annual event that showcases innovative projects developed by our students. This flagship event is a platform designed to ignite innovation, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and showcase the talent of budding engineers from across the state of Karnataka. This year’s expo will feature projects under three main themes: TECHNOLOGY, SOCIAL, and CREATIVE, with 15 different sub-themes. An attractive prize amount of Rs. 1.05 lakhs will be awarded to the winners.
