Eligibility

Requirements for joining B.E Program in Computer Science and Design 

If you do not want to be an ‘Also-ran’ or a stereotype, if you do not want to be a bit player but instead be a ringleader, if you want to do something exclusive and special, then Computer Science and Design is the course for you. Besides this, all Indian students applying for the B.E program in Computer Science and Design must fulfil the following requirements:

a. CET Quota Students:
  • Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects.
  • Must have secured an aggregate of at least 45% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
  • Must have cleared KCET.
  • Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects and obtained an aggregate of at least 60% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
  • Students should have cleared the Entrance Tests conducted by the Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka (AMPCK)
  • Students should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET, COMEDK, JEE)
    • Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)
    • Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
    • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
  • Must have passed the Diploma or equivalent examination as recognized by the University, and secured not less than 45% marks in the final year examination (fifth and sixth semesters), in the relevant branch of Engineering. In the case of SC/ST and OBC students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
  • Must have cleared the Entrance Test conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka (DCET – Diploma Common Entrance Test)

International / NRI students seeking admission at MVJ College of Engineering through the Management Admission process are requested to contact the Admission Cell at the college campus, directly, and obtain the Application Form.

Eligibility:

Students should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages and obtained a Minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
