M.Tech Structural Engineering (SE)

Laboratories
Structural Engineering Laboratory

The laboratory provides hands-on training in the testing and evaluation of construction materials and structural elements, enabling students to bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications. Its facilities support material characterization, large-scale structural testing, durability assessment, and non-destructive evaluation of civil infrastructure.

The laboratory features advanced software including AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Revit, SketchUp, ANSYS, and other specialized structural engineering tools. Students gain hands-on expertise in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures, 3D structural modelling, Building Information Modelling (BIM), finite element analysis, and structural detailing.

Concrete testing laboratory equipped with modern facilities to evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of construction materials. The laboratory provides comprehensive testing of cement, concrete, steel, coarse and fine aggregates, bricks, water, tiles, admixtures, micro silica, natural stones, and lime. The laboratory also specializes in concrete mix design for a wide range of applications, including M10 to M80 grades, lean concrete, Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC), Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC), Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC), and Dry Lean Concrete (DLC).
