Requirements for joining B.E Program in Aerospace Engineering

If you are a curious person with an unabated thirst for knowledge, and if you are someone who loves to take on a challenge, then this is the course for you. Besides this, all Indian students applying for the B.E Aerospace Engineering program must fulfil the following requirements:

Admission Procedure for Indian Students:

Undergraduate Engineering Programmes

Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programmes may be obtained through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.

a. CET Quota Students:
  • Students should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
  • Students should have cleared the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka.
  • Students should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the Languages, and obtained a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science. Also passed 10thstd with 60%
    • Students should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET, COMEDK, JEE, AMPCK)
  • Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka
    • Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)
    • Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
    • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

Note:
It is mandatory for students seeking admission through the Management Admission process, to undergo test in the campus.

  • Students should have passed Diploma or equivalent examination as recognized by the University, and secured not less than 45% marks in the final year examination (fifth and sixth semesters), in the appropriate branch of Engineering. In case of SC/ST and OBC Students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
  • Students should have cleared the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka.

Passed Diploma or equivalent with 60% marks in the final year (relevant branch) and above 60% in 10th Std.

  • International / NRI students seeking admission at MVJ College of Engineering through the Management Admission process are requested to contact the Admission Cell at the college campus, directly, and obtain the Application Form.

Eligibility:

  • Students should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages and obtained a Minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.Also passed 10th std with 60%
  • The student is not required to appear for any of the tests. The college will conduct an interview and tests. The assessment process prior to granting admission is as per rules mandated by the University.
  • Students who have passed the qualifying exam from a Board other than the Boards mentioned in the VTU list, have to obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, before the confirmation of their admission in the college.

  • Must have secured an aggregate of at least 45% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
  • Must have cleared KCET.
  • Must have passed the Second Year of Pre-university or 12th standard or equivalent, with English as one of the subjects and obtained an aggregate of at least 60% in Math and Physics, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science.
  • Students should have cleared the Entrance Tests conducted by the Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka (AMPCK)
  • Students should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET, COMEDK, JEE)
    • Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)
