The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an Add on Lecture on “Sustainable Industrial Growth and Renewable Energy Sources”. The session was organized on 3rd July 2024, in Seminar Hall 4, from 09.30 am to 10.30 am. 61 students of 6th semester open elective and the faculty of the EEE department attended the event.
The event started at 9.20 am with the Welcome Speech and Guest Introduction. After this, the Guest Speaker Mr. G. Sivaraj, Consultant, Hydro Engineers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, took over the session. First, he started with definition of sustainable industrial growth, importance of sustainability in industrial development with Challenges and opportunities. Then he explained about renewable energy sources, advantages, global trends and adoption rates. Later, he discussed about integration of renewable energy in industrial processes and innovations.
