The add-on course is one of the important and useful program for students to learn the link between the subject knowledge and how to apply in real industries. The add-on course talk was given by Mr. Senthilkumar G, Scientist-F, Center for Military and Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC), DRDO on 1st February of 2024. The Guest given the talk on the topic of Elements of Aeronautics and elements of aerospace for both second and third year aeronautical and aerospace students. More than 120 students attended the session. The guest covered the all the basics of aeronautical and aerospace. The faculty and students learned the problems faced by the researcher and scientist. It planted the seed in the young researcher to focus on the aerodynamics as well as CFD. The model of the aircraft which the way he explain the inspired students.
It is pointed that the application of CFD in the field of aeronautical and aerospace industries. And at the same time, in coming years electric and hybrid vehicles will come in which will give way to battery in the electric aircraft. The basic aerodynamics design system was discussed in the session for the present and future design of the aircraft.
