MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, in association with Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC) – Ministry of Education Initiative & IQAC organized a Motivational Talk – “My Story – Motivational Session by Successful Entrepreneur” on 10/11/2023 from 10:30am to 1:00pm. The main objective of the session was to motive students to understand the life journey of an entrepreneur.
Objective of the Event: My story – Motivational Session by Successful Innovators was a part of the quarter-1 activity of the IIC 6.0 for the current academic year 2023-2024. The intent of the session was to provide an opportunity to aspiring young entrepreneurs to listen to people who have already taken the entrepreneurial route successfully.
The inaugural function graced by the honorable chief guest Mr. Hari Rastogi Co-Founder & CEO, RiseUpp, Bangalore and in the presence of Dr. A C Niranjanappa-Dean Research MVJCE, Bangalore.

Mr. Hari Rastogi Founder & CEO – Riseupp Bangalore. He is Alumnus of ECE- 2007 Passed out batch. Hari Rastogi career growth has been driven by his passion for solving problems and creating value.
He has around 15 years of work experience in various domains and roles, such as:
- 2011: Raised VC funding for my e-commerce venture
- 2016-2019: India and Middle East Head for Alliances at 3i Infotech
- 2019-2021: India & Sri Lanka Head for Sales & Alliances at Antworks, an AI company funded by Softbank
- 2021-2022: SAARC region head for Alliances at Liferay, a California HQ software product company
- Jan 2023-present: Founder and CEO of RiseUpp, an EdTech startup At each stage of my career.
He runs an EdTech startup that aims to provide quality education to millions of online learners.

The session was an eye-opening session for the budding young minds, and it aimed to impart the skills needed to handle the different tools and technologies that are useful in real time scenarios.
